The appointment was to discuss ,if a pacemaker would be needed to counteract atrial fibrillation. I received a clear and detailed explanation of the condition and it's effect. It was given in a comforting and relaxed manner, which was reassuring and fully understood. The decision was that the condition did not presently require a pacemaker and a clear explanation of what to be wary of for the future and what action to take should these changes occur.

My daughter was finally diagnosed with PoTS after 2 years of investigations and disbelieving doctors, after a tilt test at Hammersmith hospital. Unfortunately it still took another 6 months to be referred to Dr Boon Lim, but he took the time to explain the condition and suggest a way forward to help improve her symptoms. My husband and I came out of the appointment feeling a lot more positive, and hopefully my daughter will feel the same if her condition starts to improve. If only we could have been referred to him 2 years ago.

I'm very impressed with the standard of care. Alongside the clinical nurse specialist and Dr Boon Lim I felt great confidence in their care. Professional, knowledgeable but most of all with a very caring approach. Keep up the good work you are making a difference.

Doctor Boon Lim struck me as highly professional, considerate, sensitive and honest. His honesty and sincerity are the two main features of his personality, which I appreciate most of all. I have great respect for him and trust his opinion. I'd like to express my gratitude to Dr Lim for spending his precious time with me.

I have had persistent Atrial Fibrillation for many years, despite several cardioversions and two ablation procedures. It just would not go away. Doctor Boon Lim arranged for me to have a surgical ablation at Hammersmith Hospital and, almost a year on, my heart remains in sinus rhythm. Not only that, but he rejected the calls by other doctors after my surgery to fit a pacemaker, arguing that they had to wait and see if the operation worked. I am truly grateful. He is a fine doctor.
